Joint work

Eric’s Sheds - Eric was Liz and David’s neighbour. His sheds housed ancient tractors and motorbikes, electric kettle elements, gas masks, army greatcoats – the fruits of a lifetime’s foraging and hoarding. The windows were veiled in decades of cobwebs, but where the sun penetrated through the holes in the roofs it picked out details like a searchlight. The project began in early 2002. In February 2003 Eric died and his sheds were gradually cleared. With the permission of his family, David and Liz carried on working until the sheds were empty.
